My partner and I were hungry and decided to try a place random based on google reviews only. We fancied sushi and after a few back and forth between the options decided to give this place a go.
At first I didn’t realize this place the compound is designed for deliveries only, i parked in the carpark and went through the entrance where deliveroo, just eat and uber eats drivers where accessing from.
We went in and navigated theough the maze trying ti find the Okini. We went in and there was this kind smily lady inside focused on making a shushi roll, she was soo into the job barely noticed us waiting at the entrance. She signaled us to wait for her coworker to come back.
I was impressed by how much invested her energy was into making sure the suhi rolls are done properly i didn’t mind the wait at all.
The coworker came back and again smily face friendly attitude, he have us the menu and advised that we can pay wither cash or transfer the funds via bank as they don’t have any card machines in. Which is understandable as i explained earlier this place is for deliveries not popping in.
Nevertheless, we decided on what we wanted and they started the process. It was like nothing i have seen before, their attitude was very welcoming and very pleasing to watch while they’re making the food. I was impressed by their attention to detail - he changed gloves when he handed us the menu and changed the gloves again after i handed the menu back to make sure they maintain their level of hygiene - impressive.
I asked if I was okay to take pictures and videos and they very respectfully agreed.
This sushi experience was unreal for me. The staff couldn’t be friendlier, the food could not have ben done better, their hygiene was spot on.
10/10 to this place - i can answer my million dollar question with no hesitation when it comes ti this place , will i ever try them again?

I also appreciated that he offered us mochi and a drink for free. He didn’t have to, but i truly appreciated the gesture.
I will see you soon, this time i will go with a bigger order and will update my review to reflect my next experience.

The prices are fair for the high-quality ingredients, making it a great choice for a quick lunch or a sushi night at home.
Okini Sushi is now my go-to for takeaway sushi. If you love great sushi and great service, you have to try it. Can’t wait to order again!

I've been ordering from this sushi spot a lot lately, and it never disappoints. I absolutely love their tuna and salmon options, and the assorted sets they offer are perfect. The portions are always a good size and every piece is incredibly fresh.

Beautifully presented. Quality ingredients. Very interesting flavours and seemingly a good variety of sushi. Ranging from simple and minimalistic to spicy and grand. The best sushi I’ve had in Manchester, by quite some margin
Not a restaurant, this is a takeaway pod, which of itself was an experience. Very friendly guy, made the sushi while we watched. Payment by cash or bank transfer, no card payment facility. But what fantastic sushi, so tasty and brilliant value for money. I will be back again and again

I ordered the crunchy prawn roll and California crab roll on uber eats not expecting much however I was BLOWN AWAY!!!! The sushi was so FRESH and DELICIOUS🤤 will definitely be ordering more!! Highly highly recommend🤩🤩

Had an amazing dining experience! The food was fantastic, and we'll definitely be ordering again. The complimentary dessert was a nice touch, and we appreciated the abundance of chopsticks, wasabi, and Japanese soy sauce provided. Highly recommend!

Ordered a delivery. I really enjoyed the salmon platter, it was fresh and well presented with a lot of wasabi, gari and even shiso. Overall delicious for a fair price. I'll definitely order again!

I ordered the prawn roll and the salmon platter and it was some of the best food I have ever eaten. The service was absolutely fantastic and food was prepared in 10 minutes. I would definitely go again and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about eating at Okini Sushi.

I order delivery from Okini Sushi quite frequently, and they truly never disappoint. Amazing sushi that leaves you craving more every time but also fills you up! Recommend this place to absolutely everybody that I can - I’ll be ordering from here for a very long time!

Sushi here is amazing and so fresh which I think is hard to find in Manchester! Great vegetarian selection also! We had the miso soup before which was delicious! We will definitely be going back and would 100% recommend!

The food was so delicious and amazing quality, with fresh fish and soft rice. I had the opportunity to watch the sushi be made and the safety control was great while making sure each aspect of the roll was cut and made perfectly. They also left me with a big smile as his attitude was welcoming and friendly, he also left me a free sweet treat of mochi. Definitely would order from again.
